Law Offices of Hoy & Sahlas, LLC

We are a father-daughter legal team.  Mr. David E. Hoy and his daughter, Mrs. Colleen L. Sahlas have combined legal experience of 60+ years. 
 
Originally founded in 1985 as The Law Offices of David E. Hoy, our firm was located in Oak Park for 23 years. In 2000, Attorney Colleen L. Sahlas joined her father's firm.  In 2006, we became the Law Offices of Hoy & Sahlas.  In 2008, we relocated to the central Chicago-land suburb of Oak Brook, Illinois, just 20 minutes west of downtown Chicago.

Attorneys Hoy and Sahlas each have decades of legal expertise and are leaders in their areas of practice.  We strive for excellence in our work through continuing legal education courses, serving on legal Councils and Bar Associations to

keep abreast of ever-changing laws and current legal practices.  Unlike high-powered, large, impersonal firms, our family-oriented firm is friendly, approachable and trustworthy.   We provide “hand-holding,” and empathy through the entire legal process.   Our goal is to be personable and make clients feel like family.   We are committed to integrity, diligence, and high-quality legal services.
