More About Our Areas of Practice

Our Oak Brook attorneys consist of a father-daughter legal team who have worked together for 14 years.  Mr. David E. Hoy and his daughter, Mrs. Colleen L. Sahlas have combined legal experience of 43+ years

Mr. Hoy started out in 1985 as a solo practitioner under the name of, “The Law Offices of David E. Hoy.”  In 2000 Mr. Hoy’s daughter, Mrs. Colleen L. Sahlas, joined his law firm.  In 2006 she became a legal partner and together they changed the firm name to The Law Offices of Hoy & Sahlas, Ltd.  In 2015 the firm will celebrate being in business for 30 years.

Our Oak Brook Attorneys strive to provide the highest professional services to our clients, and we aim to be personable and to provide “hand-holding,” so to speak, through the entire legal process.  There are plenty of high-powered, large, impersonal law firms which seem aloof, disinterested, cold and detached from their clients.  Our Oak Brook Attorneys aim to be personable, friendly, approachable and trustworthy.  It is our desire to provide excellent legal services to our clients and to make our clients “feel like a name and not a number.”  Our Oak Brook Attorneys strive for the highest integrity, commitment, care and quality services to our clients.
